1.  May 8, 2010  --  FRIENDS OF CYSTIC FIBROSIS have planned an exciting event to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian CF Foundation.
The following groups will be appearing in what promises to be a very upbeat, high tempo and exciting concert to be held at the
Princess Sheila NaGeira Theatre in Carbonear on Saturday May 8, 2010 beginning at 7:30pm.

--- Eastwind with the incomparable Jimmie Linegar

--- Albedo - A very popular Nfld group with a blend of country, gospel and bluegrass

--- Rural Roots - A young and very talented high energy band from Jamestown with a mix of country and bluegrass

--- Jacob's Passage - A high tempo country and gospel group that you will not want to miss

--- Peter & Friends - Popular local group with country and folk leanings

2. Country Music Cafe - St.John's NL

St. Augustine’s Church Hall, which is located off Westerland Road, adjacent to the Aquarena.
We are still providing acoustic old-time country, bluegrass and even traditional and Newfoundland country music in an acoustic setting. 
So, come along to the St. Augustine’s Church Hall, bring along an acoustic instrument and sing at the open mic show or join others at the jam session.  

Doors open at 7:30 pm with open mic starting at 8:00 pm.  A jam session will follow the open mic show.
Admission:  Adults - $5.00   Children – Free

3. Powers Court  Open Mic Show CBS NL 

Powers Court Open Mic Show
At St Thomas of Villanova parish hall in   Manuels, Conception Bay South.
Our show is held on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month from September to June.
Doors open at 7pm Show starts at 8pm

4. Bluegrass and Old-Time Country Music Jam Session  - Bay Roberts NL

LIONS CLUB   2:00 TO 5:00 P. M.  Doors open at 1:00  Admission $5.00
Come along and bring an acoustic instrument and join in an afternoon of  bluegrass and old time country music.
Electric bass, lapp and pedal steel welcome   ---   4th Sunday of each month

5. Bluegrass and Old Time Country Music Hoedown  - Whitbourne NL

The Whitbourne Lions Club is hosting its monthly Sunday afternoon of fun and fabulous old time country music 
 The doors open at 1:00 pm and the excitement starts at 2:00 pm. Join the other performers
 at the open mic or bring your instrument and play along from  your seat or just tap your feet to that great old country beat.
You will have a wonderful afternoon of fun and musical memories at the Whitbourne Bluegrass and Old Time Country Music

6. Country Music Jam Session Carbonear – Feb13

There will be a Bluegrass & Oldtime Country music jam session held at St James Church Hall ..Bond St .
 Carbonear on saturday night Feb13 at 8:00 pm. Hosted by Forward & Lewis this is an all acoustic stringed
 instrument event with electric bass being the only exception.

Come enjoy a relaxing evening of country music with us.

Doors open 7:15 - Admission is $5.00

7.  Conception Harbour Country Music Open Mic Show  Jan 17

The Conception Harbour Heritage Group is hosting its monthly Sunday afternoon of fun and fabulous old time country music 

at the Parish Hall next to the Jamie Murphy Memorial. The doors open at 1:30 pm and the good times start at 2:00 pm.

Join the other performers at the open mic or bring your instrument and play along or just tap your feet to that great old country beat. 

You will have a wonderful afternoon of fun in a relaxed atmosphere at the Conception Harbour Country Music Open Mic Show.
