"Saturday Night Jamboree" CD Launch Event.

Here are some photos from the launch of Saturday Nite Jamboree, a CD produced by Neil Rosenberg and Ted Rowe for the 

Research Centre for the Study of Music, Media and Place, School of Music, Memorial University.   The launch took place on 

Tuesday, January 22, 2008  at the new performance space at MmaP, located in the area once occupied by the provincial Art Gallery at the 

Arts & Culture Center.  Neil and Ted invited along Ray Walsh,  Ted Blanchard and Brian Johnston, three of the long-time performers 

on Saturday Nite Jamboree and they recreated some of the original sounds of the 1960's CBC Radio show.  The CD, produced from 

the original broadcast  tapes, also features John White, Wilf Doyle, and the Bluegrass Mountaineers.  It’s available in music stores now.
